- How are the trending tickers chosen?
- They are ranked by live scanner activity: relative volume (RVOL), price movement, and how often the stock has alerted during the current session. The board refreshes continuously through market hours.
- What is relative volume (RVOL)?
- RVOL compares a stock’s current volume to its typical volume for the same time of day. A reading above roughly 2x flags unusual interest that often comes before a larger move.
