- Which calculator should I use?
- Use the position size calculator before a trade to decide how many shares to buy for a set risk. Use the stock profit calculator to see the gain, loss or return on a trade. Use the average down calculator when you add to an existing position and want your new average cost and breakeven.
- Do the calculators account for fees and taxes?
- The profit calculator lets you enter commissions and fees. None of the tools calculate taxes, which depend on your holding period and tax situation. They are educational tools, not tax or investment advice.
