What stocks are halted right now?

The list above shows every stock currently halted plus the ones halted earlier today, live from the official NASDAQ trading-halt feed. Names still paused are flagged "Still halted"; the rest show the exact resume time. It refreshes continuously through the session, so it reflects the halts and resumes happening right now on the tape, not a stale snapshot.

What is a trading halt?

A trading halt is a temporary pause in trading of a stock, ordered by the exchange. During a halt you cannot buy or sell the stock. Halts protect investors when there is a sudden price move, pending news, or a regulatory concern, and trading resumes once the condition clears.

What is an LULD (volatility) halt?

LULD stands for Limit Up / Limit Down. If a stock moves more than a set percentage within a rolling 5-minute window, the exchange halts it for about 5 minutes to let the price settle. These are the most common intraday halts on volatile small-caps and high relative-volume runners, and they usually resume quickly.

What do halt codes like T1, T12, and M mean?

T1 means news pending (a company announcement is coming). T12 means the exchange has requested additional information. T2 means news released. M means a market-wide circuit breaker. H-codes (H4, H10) are regulatory or SEC halts. LULD and LUDP are volatility pauses. Each tile above shows the plain-English reason next to the code, and there is a quick code legend at the top of the page.

How long does a trading halt last?

LULD volatility halts are typically about 5 minutes. News-pending (T1) halts last until the company releases the news and the exchange schedules a resumption, often 30 to 60 minutes and sometimes longer. Regulatory (H10) halts can last days. This page shows the resume time the moment a stock reopens.

Do volatility halts get released after 4pm?

Yes. An LULD volatility pause always resumes within minutes and never carries across a session, so it is released by the 4pm closing bell at the latest. If a volatility halt still shows as halted after the session, it almost always means the resume was missed in the data rather than a stock that is genuinely still paused. This page infers the resume from real post-halt trading so those names are not left stuck on "halted."

Was the stock going up or down when it halted?

Every tile shows a mini chart of the halt day plus a "climbing" or "falling" tag: the price move in the roughly 15 minutes leading into the halt. A volatility (LULD) halt to the upside means the stock spiked too fast; a halt to the downside means it dropped too fast. Direction into the pause is the first thing traders check before deciding whether to play the resume, and it is exactly the context Nasdaq's own halt list leaves out.

How do traders trade halts?

Many day traders watch halted names because the resume can bring a big, fast move (a "halt-and-go"). Others avoid them entirely, because you cannot exit a position while halted, so a bad-news halt can trap you. This page is information, not advice: always know why a stock is halted before acting.
